Product Manager

The Grommet is looking for a passionate and collaborative Product Manager to join our product experience team.  We seek someone who has a strong foundation in both the tactical and strategic practices of product management, who can define and manage products from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate is data-driven and leverages qualitative and quantitative methods to gather insight to make product decisions.  You will be the responsible for working directly with key stakeholders and customers to deliver the optimal product experience for our Makers, B2B and B2C customers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategy and vision for our technology products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Define and manage the product roadmap including multiple, competing priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Manage relationships and communications with all relevant stakeholders including the senior leadership team to ensure success of your products.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, QA, UX designers and work closely with other internal stakeholders to provide guidance and direction to achieve the vision for your products.
  • Work with engineering to plan sprints, write user stories and help test product features before launching to customers.
  • Work with UX designers to design delightful experiences and participate in testing these experiences with users to drive usability decisions.
  • Use data and metrics to back up hypotheses and to develop business cases, while clearly and effectively communicating data insights to others.
  • Work with others to perform deep data driven analysis of businesses to surface actionable insights and product requirements
  • Drive the implementation of recommendations derived from analysis into product features.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a product manager, UX background or E-commerce experience a plus
  • Data-driven approach to defining the best product experience
  • Experience working with mobile applications, and responsive web design with an emphasis on a mobile first approach
  • Ability to lead large scale projects and build new products from the ground-up independently
  • Demonstrated skills managing competing priorities with multiple opposing stakeholders
  • Experience writing user stories with acceptance criteria and managing a product backlog
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree a must
